Symptoms
  • Pain or a dull ache on the inside or outside of the joint.
  • Difficulty picking up a/or holding objects.
  • Pain when typing at the computer desk, undoing jars and turning off taps.

What is Elbow Pain?

Elbow pain is usually the result of repeated work-related activities leading to overuse or a specific sporting trauma. Repeated movements cause the tendon attachments to overload causing inflammation & pain. Other traumatic events can strain or rupture ligaments, aggravate bursae, fracture bony prominences or entrap nerves leading to inflammation and restricted movements.

Other Symptoms Include:
  • Swelling on the back side of the joint.
  • Limited movement or stiffness.
  • Pins and needles down the arm and into the hand.
